Refund policy

  1. INTRODUCTION

 

  • This document sets out the terms and conditions ("Terms") implemented by Ryclan International (Pty) Ltd with registration number 2020 / 112002 / 07 ("Shoreline” or “we” or “us”) t/a “Shoreline”, as pertaining to the access and use of the information, products, services and functions provided on SHORELINE-ZA.COM ("Website").
  • Shoreline offers the Website to you (“you” or “the user”), which includes all information, tools and services which may be available from the Website, in which instance by visiting the Website and/or purchasing anything from Shoreline, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions, which includes this Returns Policy. .
  • Shoreline provides a range of products on the Website for sale, which includes but is not limited to beach accessories, towels, coolerbags, sarongs, cover-ups, boardshorts, home décor items, woven baskets, woven placemats, hair accessories and/or stationary items, (“the Goods”).
  1. 7 day CANCELLATION policy
    • In terms of section 44 of ECTA, you are entitled to cancel any electronic transaction for any reason whatsoever within 7 (Seven) days of receiving the Goods.
    • Upon such cancellation, you are required to do the following:,
      • You must notify us in writing at info@shoreline-za.com of your intention to to cancel the order and return the Goods within 7 (Seven) days of receiving the Goods;
      • The Goods must be returned to us without having been damaged and/or used, in the original packaging with all parts and accessories included;
      • Ensure that the Goods are available for collection.
    • Shoreline reserves the right to charge you fees incurred in collecting the Goods from you.
    • You are entitled, within 30 (Thirty) days of successfully cancelling your order to be refunded all monies paid for such Goods, subject the reasonable collection costs incurred by Shoreline.
  2. RETURNS POLICY
    • Shoreline has a 30 (Thirty) days return policy, in which instance you are able to return any Goods, provided they meet the following criteria:

Defective Goods

  • Should you receive any defective Goods, you may return these to us, in which case we will credit your account or exchange the item for you.
  • Upon receipt of the returned Goods, Shoreline shall thoroughly inspect the Goods, and if it is found that the defect is a result of any of the following:
    • faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
    • damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
    • damage arising from electrical surges or sea air corrosion;
    • damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
    • damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product;
    • where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you;

You shall not receive a credit or exchanged item. In such event, Shoreline reserves the right to charge you any additional delivery and/or collection charges occasioned by such return.

Size issues

  • Should the Goods not fit or the size thereof be incorrect, Shoreline will gladly exchange such Goods for a more appropriate size.
  • In such event, the Goods are to be returned in the same conditions in which they were delivered to you, and that they remain in their original packaging as far as practicable.
  • Shoreline reserves the right, upon inspection of such returned goods to decline such return if:
    • The Goods show clear signs of use;
    • The Goods have in anyway been tampered with, amended and/or altered from their original state; and/or
    • Any other reasonable signs of use.
  • Should Shoreline decline any such return, you may be held liable for the collection costs of such Goods.
  • Successful return

In the event of a successful return, you may choose from one of the following options:

  • Exchange the product for another of the same;
  • Exchange the product for a different product of the same value or less value; and/or
  • Your account credited with the amount of the returned Good(s).
  • In the event of a return for a different item, as per clause 1.2.2 above, if there are additional funds left over this will automatically be credited to your account.
  • You are requested, when submitting your request for a return, to indicate whether or not you wish to exchange the item or have your account credited.
